Our Ministries and Programs

Mission Work

Presently, TOL is supporting the Strasser family in Zambia.  Pastor Arden Strasser,
alongside the leaders of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Zambia, is working to reinvigorate
and strengthen the church, rethink all aspects of ministry, outreach, administration, and leadership.

Our Prayers for this Mission
Pray for good rains for farming, which many church members depend on to avoid seasonal hunger.
Pray for love and unity within and between ELC-Zambia congregations and leaders.
Pray for wisdom for the Zambian church leadership in decision-making.
Thank God for the courage the church has shown in moving towards self-reliance.
Pray for health and safety for the Arden family.


Congregation-led Mission Work

 - Prayer Shawl Ministry -
This ministry group was began in January of 2007.  The purpose of this ministry is to create prayer shawls and give them to individual who will receive comfort from wearing them.  Prayers are said for these individuals as the shawls are lovingly created.  There is no cost for the shawls and only needs to be requested.  The shawl is wrapped and given away with a written message of comfort and encouragement.  This group meets the third Wednesday of each in month in the afternoon.

 - World Relief Quilters -
Congregation led ministry to make quilts for those in need throughout the world.


Youth and Family Ministry

Parent and volunteer-led youth activities for all ages.
Family Fun Nights, youth outings and service projects
Many opportunities for fellowship and faith-building!

Trinity Old Lutheran Church hosts Vacation Bible School every summer!


Christian Education

Sunday School for ages Pre-K to High School, Sundays at 9:30 AM (summers off)

Adult Forum: Adult Bible Study, Sundays at 9:30 AM

Adult Bible Study:  Led by Pastor Miss during the week
